The Congregation Pt26 (The Dangers Of Legalism Pt4) (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)Brother Nathan Bryant, March 8, 2020
Part of the The Congregation series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
"Now, that is what I find around most Christian lives. Most, I hate to say it that way, but it’s true. The most people that can profess Christianity, they seem to have such a hard struggling time to hold on. I believe it’s because of a lack of correct teaching of--of the Bible. There’s no such a thing as holding on. He done the holding on. The whole Christian principle is based upon rest. 'Come unto Me all ye that labor and heavy laden. I will give you rest.' Don’t have to worry and struggle. You’re just resting; that’s all. "

1 Corinthians 13:1-3
1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. (KJV)
